Garden Gem by Sabine Riefler

The main pattern of these mitts imitates a secret garden or “Hortus conclusus”. Often a symbol of purity and a new beginning, it is also a place of retreat and reflection, a place to conclude a day and relax after the day's toils.

The leaf pattern is worked up in the accompanying shawlette. Both make ideal companions for late summer and early autumn evenings. Mitts and Shawl will use exactly one skein of Cherry Tree Hill Sockyarn! They also make an excellent gift.
