Lacey Ribs by Janine LeCras

A feminine cardigan designed to flatter a wide range of figures. The lacey rib welts draw in the body to show off your waist without the complication of waist shaping.

The double collar is designed to flatter your cleavage without being too obvious.

 

Sizes

Finished Bust Size 28-30 (32-34, 36-38, 40-42, 44-46 48-50)” to fit bust 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50)”
This pattern is designed with no ease for a close fit.

Yarn

Dream in color Smooshy sock yarn (100% superfine Australian Merino superwash; 450 yards/100g grams): Color 05 Absolute Magenta (MC), 3 (3, 4, 5, 6) balls; Color  natural (CC), 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) ball. You only need a small amount of the contrast color for the lace collar so if you have a small ball of left over yarn in a suitable color you could use that instead.

Needles

US#3 (3.25 mm): 24” circular

Gauge

28 sts and 32 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking.

Notions

Removable markers; waste yarn or stitch holders; safety pins; sewing pins; tapestry needle; 15 (16, 17, 18, 19, 19) 1/2” buttons
