Rosebud Lane by Sabine Riefler
Isn’t fall a terrific season? In early fall the days are still warm and sunny, but gradually grow shorter. In the evenings we may still sit outside with a cardigan around our shoulders and a pair of cozy socks on our feet. I enjoy the abundance of smells and colors of fall flowers and plants. Filling my memory with pictures of them helps me to endure the dark cold season. Roses have always been one of my favorites and this fine little rose bud stitch pattern has won my heart. These socks combine all I love: knitting, flowers and the fall season when life slows down. We snuggle up on the couch, take out our knitting and have time for reflection.
