Winter 2008
End of year knitting is often synonymous with gift knitting -- last minute pattern selection, frantic yarn shopping, and late night knitting sessions. This issue is packed with gift knits -- mitts, socks, scarves, hats, and cowls will cover just about everyone on your list. For the adventurous gifter we've included some bigger projects too -- garments with complex cables, texture, and shaping. Of course, if you're not a gift-knitter, there's plenty for you to choose from to make for yourself.
And with all this talk of gifting, we couldn't let our first holiday season pass by without giving out a few gifts of our own! We'll be announcing the details of our first giveaway when the issue launches in mid-November. <hint>Yarn! Needles! Books!</hint>
